CS4 Project Guidelines

CS4 Project Questions
Pick 1 2 or 3 depende sa group size. Denominator is 25*(group size).

1.Create a function that alphabetizes an array of Strings (ignore cases). 20 pts.

2.Create a function that transforms a date in dd/mm/yyyy or dd-mm-yyyy into Month Date, Year. 20 pts.

3.Create a function that returns the longest palindrome inside a word. 25 pts.

4.Create a function that reverses a subdomain string. For example pshs.edu.ph will become ph.edu.pshs. 25 pts.

5.Create a function that checks if a string is a substring of another by using charAt, length and/or substring only. 25 pts.

6.Given an array of Strings, create a function with a string parameter and checks if the array contains that string using ? and * as wildcards by printing the element. ? can be replaced by any character, * can be replaced by a number of characters. Example: a?b*c can be equivalent to axbxmnc. 30 pts.

7.Gene finder. A gene is a substring of a genome that starts with the start codon (ATG), ends with a stop codon (TAG, TAA, or TGA) and consists of a sequence of codons (nucleotide triplets) other than the start or stop codons. The gene is the substring in between the start and stop codons. Print out all genes in the string. 30 pts.

8.Create a function that prints out or returns an array of all the possible anagrams of a word with distinct letters. Anagrams need not be real words. 30 pts.

MGA PAMAMARAANG SUSUNDIN SA PAG-UULAT NG MGA EPIKO
Pangkatang Gawain sa Filipino, Unang Kwarter, Taong Akademiko 2010-2011



1. Binubuo ng limang (5) kasapi ang bawat pangkat para sa gawaing ito. Pangungunahan ito ng isang pinuno, isang katuwang na pinuno at mga kasapi. Ang bawat isa ay inaasahang makibahagi nang aktibo ayon sa inaasahan at napagkasunduan ng pangkat.

2. Bawat pangkat ay nakatakdang mag-ulat ukol sa isang epiko mula sa isang partikular na lalawigan.

3. Magsasaliksik ang bawat pangkat ukol sa kasaysayan at kabuhayan ng lalawigang pinagmulan ng epikong nakatakda nilang iulat sa harap ng klase.

4. Ang bawat pangkat ay kinakailangang bumuo ng 7-10 mga batas panlipunan na nakabatay sa mga pangyayari sa epiko.

5. Kailangang ilahad ang buong kuwento ng epikong iuulat.

6. Responsibilad ng bawat mag-aaral na alamin ang kuwento ng bawat epiko.
Tandaan : May pagsusulit bago ang bawat pag-uulat.

7. TULONG BISWAL : Ang mga batas panlipunan ay kailangang nakasulat nang malalaki at malikhain upang malinaw na maipresenta sa harap ng guro at klase.
- Gawing kapana-panabik at kawili-wili ang pag-uulat sa epiko, maging malikhain.
- Ang paggamit ng mga viewing rooms (Learning Center, Art Center) at LCD projector (maging VHS player, DVD player, TV) ay kinakailangang maitakda agad isang linggo bago ang araw bago ng pag-uulat.

8. Sa pag-uulat sa harap ng klase, kinakailangang maipaliwanag ng bawat pangkat ang ugnayan ng batas na kanilang binuo at mga pangyayari sa epiko.

9. Maaaring hamunin o bigyan ng iba pang interpretasyon ng mga nakikinig ang batas at pangyayaring pinag-uugnay. Kailangang humanda ang bawat pangkat na nag-uulat na sagutin ang mga hamon o tanong na ito.
